Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Must be able to anticipate what is needed next and ready to keep production moving during the shift.
  • Basic understanding of mixers, ovens, knives, heavy duty kitchen equipment, etc.
  • Willing to make large quantities of baked goods and fresh food items.
  • Willingness to keep kitchen clean and share dish cleaning responsibilities with the team.

No previous experience required

Basic Qualifications

  • 35 – 40 hours per week, Shifts are 4 – 5 days per week: Monday – Friday
  • Must be able to work mornings starting as early as 5 – 6am.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs ( Flour and sugar bags, etc.)
  • Able to be on your feet for your shift, aside from your lunch break.
  • Minimal experienced needed, will train.
  • Willingness to learn and eager to excel.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
