For us, one of those moments involved music, good friends, and a life-changing bagel.
Before Terre Coffee & Bakery, our founder, Gabe Booher, spent his days (and late nights) as a professional musician. One night after a show, we were invited to an after-party at a friend’s house. We expected the usual post-gig snacks—but what we got was fresh-from-the-oven, perfectly chewy, slightly spicy jalapeño bagels. And just like that, we were spoiled for life.
When we opened our bakery, we knew something was missing…
…and it wasn’t long before our taste buds reminded us.
We needed those bagels. Thankfully, our friends were kind enough to share their recipe, and with a few tweaks, we made them our own—handcrafted, hand-boiled, made with love, and absolutely one-of-a-kind.
Now, every time we take a bite, we’re reminded of that unforgettable night—and we like to think it’s a little taste of heaven.
